A beautiful rural setting with stunning views of Mt Buller divined the direction of this modern, yet warm and cosy Mansfield farm retreat. The Castlemaine stone wall showcasing a huge roaring fire, "Mink Grey" floor boards, huge black framed windows, work together to embrace the warmth and depth of nature.

The client's brief was to have a sun filled corner of the house dedicated to relaxation with cushions piled high to create the perfect place to curl up with a classic and red wine.

The house reflects the needs of a teenage boys with the entry lined in floorboards to kick off their muddy blundstones and hang wet dysabones.

Bufe Design loved working in close collaboration with architect, Anthea Bickford to create this carefree, country getaway for our client.
